What if trxinfo DEX is a scam?

*** ON 12/10/2018 ALL THE LINKS AND IMAGES ARE UPDATED BECAUSE TRONSCAN LINKS STOPPED WORKING AND ALL THE HASHES WERE DELETED FROM THEIR WEBSITE ALL TOGETHER WITH FLYING FUX TOKENS, WHICH BECAME INVISIBLE IN TRONSCAN WALLETS****

The main question is HOW and WHY transaction hashes and Flying Fux tokens disappeared from Tronscan? Are we safe on Tronscan, or does “Randy” have someone in the backstage pulling the strings?

In a world of Crypto, everything might be a scam

Before I came into this world, I never understood when people would say “cryptocurrency lives because people are believing in it.” Now I get that. Ever since I started reading about tokens and coins, ICOs and blockchain, trust has been number one issue to overcome. People lost trust in centralized banks, and that lead us here. Some ICOs have been a scam and now less and less people decide to invest in any. Decentralization is taking a hard swing at people’s minds, who now realize one thing “My money/power/knowledge/rights belong TO ME.”

“So do the tokens I created.” Say the CEOs.

But at one point, every token should reach an exchange. Now, there are centralized exchanges such as Coinbase, Binance, Bittrex, etc. Many of them are here since the beginning. And they work just fine. People trust them, that they will not take their tokens, fulfill their orders, not hold their money from them, and allow them to withdraw whenever they want (of course, if users pass a needed KYC and/or reach another tier that allows bigger amounts withdrawn). Creators of the token pay an amount to get listed on the market, and that’s it. Regular users trade safely.

In newer time, there appears to be new type of exchange — decentralized exchange a.k.a DEX. If a creator of a new token wants to get listed, he/she pays the fee still, but sets up their exchange as part of the DEX. Regular users should be able to trade normally.

Except that is not always the case. Since DEXs are fairly new, both owners of the tokens and traders need to be able to trust in one in order to be safe.

What happened to our token BOOK WRT on trxinfo.org is exactly the thing that kills trust between communities in crypto.

In case you haven’t read my last article — BOOK WRT got listed on trxinfo.org and since then has suffered greatly and barely managed to retrieve the tokens “Randy” took. But we were not alone.

Now, did our CEO Victor make a mistake while listing pairs? Could be. But let’s take a look at a testimony of another CEO, who didn’t even reverse the pairing:

“This is my testimony and proof of what transpired between myself and Randy the creator of Trxinfo.org when creating a FlyingFux/TRX trading pair through his site. **Please note: The address used on his site, was created through his site the same day the thefts occurred. The private key that was created through his site Trxinfo.org was never sent anywhere, was stored locally and was created specifically to use for the purpose of trading through his exchange.

There were a lot of things that didn’t feel right from the very beginning of creating a trading pair on Trxinfo.org, but I chose to overlook them, with the belief that with everything visible on the blockchain and the fact that other tokens are being traded there then surely everything must be alright, unfortunately for me in a very short order I discovered otherwise.

On the day I created my account on Trxinfo.org, I created a new wallet through the “Create Account” link provided in the upper righthand corner of the site. I initially made a few small transfers from some of my primary TRX wallets to the wallet address created (TEH5ogo96DnxzDW43gqrGdJRS4MBFiJwhD) prior to sending any larger amounts to test that everything was working as it should.

I then transferred over several larger amounts to sell, as well as the TRX to pay the amount requested to create a trading pair, which was 1024 TRX.

I then transferred over 34,768,349 FlyingFux, which I intended to use to create my trading pair with, not quite clear on the amount I wanted to pair with TRX yet and 1,254,999 TRONGOLD which I intended to sell to use the profits from for the TRX trading pair.

I then sold 654,999 TRONGOLD and had enough to create my FlyingFux/TRX trading pair and 8,895TRX to spare. This still left 600k TRONGOLD in my wallet. I immediately created the trading pair and emailed Randy to let him know that I paid the 1024 TRX and created the trading pair with 10m FlyingFux/10k TRX to start and requested how long it would take until I would be able to see it trading on the site. His response was the first big red flag!

After informing Randy, “I just finished creating an exchange pair on your site TrxInfo.org for my social tipping token FlyingFux (FUX) with 10m FUX and 10k TRX.” and asking him, “ If you’d please be so kind to review my token and let me know any additional information I can provide to help in the review process, it’d be greatly appreciated.”, he responded with, “ to enable the trade, u need to donate 20,000TRX to the address at the footer to support our operation of the website.” and that, “ after donate, it will be listed in NDX.”

Even though I thought it was weird that he was now asking for a donation of 20k TRX to be sent for the listing when that was never posted anywhere, I thanked him and told him I’d begin gathering the 20k TRX and would notify him as soon as I had it together.

I then checked to see what TRX I had available in my Bittrex account and turned to my FlyingFux (FUX) Telegram community to see if I could sell some FlyingFux to raise enough TRX to pay for the remainder of the 20k TRX so I could get the token listed. Thankfully I had a supportive member of the community purchase approximately 12k TRX worth of FlyingFux which covered more than half of what I needed and was able to send Randy the 20k TRX he was requesting to make the listing live. The link to the transaction is below, which came from one of my primary wallets, not the one created through his site.

Meanwhile, at the same time I was gathering the 20k to pay for the listing of the FlyingFux/TRX trading pair, Randy was working on something of his own. He was busy transferring my remaining balances of 8,858 TRX, 600k TRONGOLD and 24m FlyingFux to his personal wallets.

When I first brought the missing tokens to his attention, he replied by saying, “ please send the address, so I can track the record” and then 30 minutes later replied with, “the balance issue, our data update is delayed, we will fix it”.

I then emailed him concerned because I noticed something wasn’t right with the FlyingFux/TRX trading pair I created and it was reset shortly after going live and several people had been purchasing large amounts, I also knew something was extremely wrong because all my tokens were missing so I asked him if his site was under attack or had been hacked and if he’d please take a closer look and let me know what was going on. He responded with, “no worry, we r changing out server to a better server, we will recover ur pair asap. Sorry!”

Since I was expecting my daughter to be born at any moment and juggling a lot of things I didn’t have time to check the transaction history and had not yet fully understood what occurred, but knew something just didn’t feel right. This is when he began his diversion tactics asking, “did u ever give ur private key to anyone? the transaction is not made by u?”

When I did finally get an opportunity to check the transaction history and saw that the missing amounts had been transferred/sent out of my wallet which was created through his site Trxinfo.org, I emailed him and sent him a screenshot of one of the transactions to which he then replied, “it seems ur private key may be stolen, I suggest u use a new private key and account, and keep ur private key safe, never give it to anyone”. Stolen indeed, by him!

There were several more emails exchanged in an attempt to correct the issue, 74 emails to be exact, but unfortunately nothing was resolved. I had emailed several times requesting for my FlyingFux/TRX be delisted and the remaining balances be returned to be due to the thefts that occurred through Trxinfo.org, to which he replied, “the thefts thing is a rumour, it is all because some people do not know how to use, or because sometime the data confirm time lag. Withdraw hurts the users, u need to pay 10K punitive fee to withdraw ur token.” So not only did he steal from me he then wanted to continue to extort me in order to remove what little I had left remaining on his site.

I then told him, “If you require 10k TRX “punitive damages”, then take it from the 13835.717987 TRX that are in the Trading pair and allow me access to withdraw or send me back the remaining 3835.717987 TRX and 7227888 FlyingFux.”, because I wanted to be done with the issue and I didn’t want anyone who was interested in supporting the FlyingFux project to fall victim to him, so I felt a moral obligation to pay his ransom request to protect the community.

When all was said and done, I was able to retrieve 3,799.9 TRX and 7,209,428 FlyingFux.

Unfortunately there is the 24 million FlyingFux, 600k TRONGOLD and 8,858 TRX that were never recovered and Randy still denies taking, though the only person that could’ve had access to that wallet other than myself would’ve been him, since it was created through his site.

Below is the paths that the stolen tokens were transferred through and where they currently reside.

Initially, all three amounts were transferred out of my wallet to the address listed below:

UPDATE:

Stolen TRX:

How and when he will manage to get their tokens back remains unknown, all while the price is getting lower and lower because “Randy” allows the trading of the token on trxinfo.org (We suspect only him and his closest people are able to trade).

It is a shame that something like this happened. I want to believe that this is not how our world should be changed and our trust played with. CEO of Flying Fux is not asking for punishment, it will come on its own, because people will soon see how scammy this DEX is. He is simply asking for his locked tokens to be released.
